American soprano Janice Chandler-Eteme’s astonishing range of concert literature includes Strauss’ Four Last Songs(Reading, Baltimore, Syracuse, Harrisburg, and Utah Symphonies; Florida Orchestra, Fort Wayne Philharmonic; Grand Teton and Texas Music Festivals); Philip Glass’ Passion of Ramakrishna(Pacific Symphony); Mahler’s Second Symphony(San Diego, Baltimore, Nashville, Cincinnati, Colorado, and Pacific Symphonies; Rome’s Santa Cecilia Orchestra);
She remains among the most in-demand sopranos for Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess. Other forays into operatic literature have included a first-ever Donna Elvira in Mozart’s Don Giovanni with the National Philharmonic.
Biography
With the release of her debut album, “Thank You”, Theresa has combined her passion for ministry and music into a full time endeavor and God has certainly shown favor. This anointed vocalist and songwriter has shared the stage with such household names as Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Sapp and Babbie Mason. She continues to share her gift of music through her travels throughout the United States, Canada, the Caribbean Islands and the United Kingdom. She has appeared on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), the legendary Apollo Theater, and the Bobby Jones Gospel Show. Currently, Theresa stays busy promoting her new EP single “My Friend”. Through her personal experiences of victory and heartache, Theresa has opened her heart as a testimony and witness that God still comforts the lonely, heals the broken hearted and restores the weary. The smash new single “My Friend” tells the story and introduces to others the greatest love of all…the love of Jesus. Theresa’s musical journey to this point is certainly a story worth sharing and sets the stage for her soon to be released self titled sophomore CD.
